THE WHOLE MEGILLAH:
Aromas are bland with bare notes of barnyard, spicy peppers, and dark chocolate.
Perfect specimen for my PerfecPunch. I’ve smoked a couple monsters from my sampler. Each one is proto-packed like a football fan the day after eating mass quantities of wings and fried cheese curds. My PerfecDraw tool gives it one woosel, and it’s over. Dr. Rod uses Apple Pay: $2.74 in my pocket, yeah. Double trouble.

With a sneer and a waffle, the cigar is lit.

Instant karma because I deserve it. Flavorful start with notes of chocolate, black pepper, tasty malt, salted toffee, dark berries, and crusty oak.

Nothing makes a man feel better about himself than accurately dangling a cigar from his lips. Don’t need nobody to tell him he looks cool; he knows he’s cool.

I love when a cigar speaks to me immediately. No schnorring around waiting for it to get better…nonchalantly fearing it might not. Sweet notes manned the hatches with the unspoiled give and take, dashing to and fro with delectable savory notes.

‘I’ll never be your beast of burden. I’ve walked for miles my feet are hurtin.’

The ensuing inch begins: Tasty kakes notes of chocolate yogurt, creaminess galore with spotted dick of salty butter, touch of fennel, maraschino cherry, and some incredible maltiness.

Espresso joins the mélange. The cigar is pulling at all the threads and is forming an impressive Christmas sweater.

My gumboots are tapping in a syncopated rhythm as my brain sends signals that my palate is happy.

With an inch burned, the depth is declaring victory. Flavors are diamonds on the soles of my shoes.

I was a featured guest on a TV show back in the early 80’s in which the topic was how to get your partner hot. I did a perfect phone interview and then completely choked during taping…metaphorically speaking.

Jungle love, it’s making me crazy.

More often your new cigars need ampler humidor rest than you can bear…this is the moment you smoke your ‘Let’s See’ cigar. And then your fingers begin the impatient drumbeat, deforesting your collection with more ‘Let’s See’ moments. On occasion, you are surprised and delighted when cigars are delivered ready for the blues playin’ man. These Monster Mash ’24 sticks are all about that. This is my third and each was a bulbous attack on my spleen and other nonessential organs. Damn, Maurice…

This is not a shy blend. It slams your palate against the wall and screams, ‘Put up or shut up, you dope smokin’ Hippie!’ Not a flavor bomb. Evenly distributed faires from the renaissance. I don’t remember a better-balanced cigar…so early, and way too soon.
Fruity unlike most Nic puros I’ve smoked. The fruits are as disparate as the sonnets written by Euclid. Apricot, dried cherries, raisins, and flaming ferret on a pike.

I had down time from touring, so we decided to visit Windsor Castle. After living in the land of the Brits for a bit, it does feel like once you’ve seen one palatial castle, you’ve seen them all. But hardly ever did I get a chance to be naughty. The fuzzy bearskin hatted guard had walked away from his guard shack. I darted into it so I could take the photo below. The guard returned with no warning from my girlfriend. He stood directly in front of me so I could not exit the shack. I panicked. I cleared my throat a couple times, but nothing happened. After a very long 2 minutes of ‘Excuse me sir…er, Pardon me…and the sounds of me coughing up a lung, the guard moved forward without saying a word. He did the striking come to arms thing where he nearly leaped into the air as his feet left the ground and came to attention. My girlfriend was so startled that she fell backwards, and her Nikon camera hit the dirt. She said she saw him smirk. A castle official was johnny on the spot at the same time I stepped from the claustrophobic hut. He gave me hell…but in the fashion of a civilized Englishman. I apologized. I look back and realize that it was a different time back then. Pull that stunt now and it’s a pretty good chance that you’d be shot dead or sent to Abu Ghraib to be stewed and pickled. ‘Ain’t but one way out baby, lord I just can’t get out the door.’

The first half was nasty good. bloody great…if you know what I mean. I don my pork pie hat for the second half.

This is a beautiful example of medium strength done right. Yeah, it’s too hip for the room while bangin’ away…from its birth of cool, to the second half. This is the textbook morning cigar for sipping’ coffee and watching Regis and Kathy…right after Dave Garroway.

I took Butch for his appearance on the Today Show. Met Gumbel and Pauley. There was a glitch over who would interview the Munster. The director pointed between the two hosts several times during a commercial break. Finally, Bryant slammed his fist on the desk and bellowed, “Godamm…good thing we don’t make dynamite around here!” I laughed but stopped when Jane gave me a stink eye.

The balance is the star while supporting characters have lovely richness, transitional depth, light complexity, and utter smoothness. So nice…I should review the rest of my cache of 11 Monsters. Tatuaje first brought these cigar blends to the unsuspecting public in 2008. The blends have stayed basically the same…only the sizes and shapes have changed. I’ve smoked ‘em all and enjoyed each one. But something about this release is just stellar. Maybe it’s the soil from volcanic eruptions in Sudetenland.

The last two inches are a dream. Immovable forward progression. No harshness or immutable strength to swoon over. Flavorful and rich to the end.

I’d love to revisit all my Tat Monster Mash blends in 6 months. They’re going to be killer sacrifices. The only reason I’m reviewing the Bride this early is that these samplers will be gone long before half a year is reached. After promo codes, they are just a little over $11.00 per cigar. Stunning quality. Don’t be a schmuck. Spend some of your kid’s college fund where it will be better spent. If I mention PerfecSmoke again…$4.11
