Dapper 10th Anniversary Ships Immediately | Cigar Reviews by the Katman

Something very cool from Ian Reith and Dapper Cigar Co.

I received a box last week and I’ve smoked a couple ‘Let’s See’ sticks. Excellent blend with impressive early complexity and a dash of refinement. I’m planning on letting it rest so I can report honestly and accurately.

The stash we reviewers received is the size that Reith enjoys: 4.5 x 54. The retail cigar is a 6 x 54 Toro Grande. Reith told me that he doesn’t have time for a big cigar and the smaller version meets his busy schedule.

I’m not busy. I wander the halls. Whistling show tunes to no one in particular. Staring at my wristwatch. Watching the wheels go by. I guess the shorty will just have to do.

From Dapper Cigar Co.:
“These are 10 count boxes, made in the D.R. at Tabacalera La Isla. There were only 1,000 boxes made, and each box is hand numbered on the inside of the box. The cigar samples you all have received are the same cigar, except shorter…made for me. They were made in the same run and are a good representation of the cigar for sampling.

“…very unlike what we’ve done to this date. Of the 4 different tobaccos used in this cigar, we’ve only used 1 of the varieties in a blend before.

“These cigars have aged for almost exactly 1 year after they were rolled.”

Wrapper: Ecuadorian Corojo
Binder: Dominican
Filler: Dominican Piloto
Size: 6 x 54 Toro Grande
Strength: Medium/Full
Price: $22.00

Based on my early smokes, I eagerly look forward to reviewing the Dapper 10th Anniversary. And buying another box.

Note: 2 days later. The cigar has gone live. Based on my early couple of cigars, this is a worthwhile purchase. Very much in the vein of Padron 1926 Maduro. You can purchase the Dapper 10th Anniversary from sponsor Small Batch Cigar. Take 10% off with promo code KATMAN.

I just looked at the Small Batch Cigar website. It says the store is currently closed and to check back in a little while. Have you heard anything about this?

It must have been maintenance on their website. I bought a fiver this morning and there were no issues.
Speaking for SBC. we are sorry for your inconvenience.
      Thanks for your comment,
