Are you playing through an amp, or an interface only. I’ve never heard one of these live.

It’s big. It booms. It growls. This is through an amp. All I need for now.

I tried to play it while pulling it out of the box. I took a breath and set it up.
It sounds like thunder.
Thanks,

Thank you, Charlie. I’ve found ancient spells that will give my bass powers to set my eyebrows on fire while playing Allman Bros. in the key of E Flat. I’ve tried in the past, but only succeeded in getting blisters on me fingers.

Real nice! Is it unique to use walnut? So dense and heavy… All I know is acoustic guitars

There is no playbook on the use of organic materials for electric bass design.
That being said, walnut is unusual for the reason you mentioned…it’s heavy, brother. Alembic basses, made famous by Stanley Clarke, had models made of walnut. I test drove one and it was like hanging a boat anchor from my neck.
This bad mama jama sits on a heavy duty stand that could support a family of fatted calves. The wood gives this electronic device a warm growl that my Dobro never fully realized. But then my Dobro bass was built in 1976.
I woke up this morning and my fingers glowed like the sun. Completely new set of callouses await.

She looks sweet, Katman. Enjoy. Do you have a cab for the Boss head or are you using the head alone? I’ve got a 50w Boss Katana combo for guitar and the 100w Boss Katana head and a couple of cabs (guitar) for when I want to rattle the windows…

Hi Eric,
I’m using a Boss bass practice amp for now. I have no plans for playing out, so for the time being, this works beautifully. But I will probably invest in a good system that allows me to use my Bose headphones.

Hey Paul,
I love your analogy. Musicians often name their axes. It’s now Habano J. Squirrel.

Hey, Phil. Hope you’re enjoying your new bass. I noodle on acoustic guitar, but never find the time to enjoy it as much as I would like. Your cigar reviews have led me to many relaxing hours of great cigars. Thanks for all that you do, brother. I appreciate you immensely.

Hi Tim,
Thank you so much. Keep up with your guitar doodling. If you can do it while smoking a cigar, that’s the duofecta.
I appreciate you immensely for reading this old man’s drivel.
