I bought one from Cigar Page a year ago. I paid $250. Worth every dime.
Field Supply has a 3-day sale on various crap. Included is the same Yosemite gun case travel humidor for $150. A savings of $100.
My wife and I are apartment dwellers and space is dear. I have three 300 count humidors looming large in my man cave. I don’t have room for another. You can load the travel humidor up and stick it anywhere. I love this thing.
It is advertised as having the capacity for holding 500 cigars. In humidor speak, it means half that. But I have gotten every bit of those 500 cigars in the humidor. The case comes with plenty of thick foam so you can adjust everything. And it keeps the perfect humidity of my choice. How rare is that?
The case does not come with cedar trays. I added my own.
This is mine:

If you need space, this is a great purchase. Go to Field Supply and scroll

This is my long-term humidor. And as such, I keep the cellos on. When I move them to my short-term humidors, I remove the cellos.
Thanks for your comment,

What do you use for humidification?

Several Boveda 69% 60-gram packets. The case is so airtight that the packets last twice as long.
I also keep two digital hygrometers in the case for check and balance.

Thanks.
This may be a stupid question, but that generally doesn’t stop me. Does the foam affect humidification in any way?

The foam holds humidity better than if the case had none. Using the foam is the secondary reason I keep the cellos on. In the 14 months I’ve used the case, I’ve not noticed any deleterious effects from using the foam. IF I contract uvula cancer, then I would concede that I’m incorrect.

Now I just have to mark which case is for cigars. It would be embarrassing to be dispensing cigar smoke rather than gun smoke at the range.

I wonder how many of us have had one or more of these cases for years without ever being as creative as Katman. Too many smells in them over the years, so I ordered a new one at a great price. Thanks for sharing, Katman.
