I’ve been very favorable in my reviews of the La Bomba in all their iterations. They are not cigars for sissies, ukelele players, or drummers.
The latest release harkens back to 2013 in its first release of the Warhead. It uses a Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper with the binder and fillers being Nicaraguan. I love a Connie Broad bent over Nicaraguan leaves.
Espinosa has said this first blend is the most sought after and most requested since the Warhead series began…so it has been brought back in a fancy boy toy format.
The Warhead 6 is a 5 x 58 soft box pressed perfecto and has a wonderfully balanced profile.
There are 10 cigars contained in the Warhead. Each going for $15.00 making the whole michegos $150.
I’ve bought every La Bomba since their inception, but the latest ones come in a very cool man cave decoration.
When I saw that Cigar Page has the 601 La Bomba Warhead Re-Up Warhead 6 for $105.00, I snagged it. That’s $45 back in my pocket.
You can snag yours too, but I have no idea how many are left.
These two are on the wall in my cave. The ferret is a costly accessory.
