I screwed up yesterday. I recommended a ten pack of the Oliva Serie V Melanio 2020 without noticing that in order to get the deal of $7 per cigar, Cigora required a purchase of two 10 packs. I wasn’t thorough so please forgive me.
I found this deal on Cigarbid. You must have an account. You can sign up for one if you don’t. And It’s a bidding war on 200 fifteen count samplers that ends on March 7 just before midnight.
Currently, the cigars are going for less than $7 each. The retail on these cigars is $20 per stick.
The good news is that you will win a fiver of the 2019, 2020, and the 2024. Let me do the math for you so you won’t need to grab your abacus: The cigars have between 2-6 years of box aging. They did the heavy lifting.
I think it’s a killer opportunity and if the price creeps up by a buck per cigar, you’re still saving 60%.
I have a Cigarbid account and put my bid in on one sampler. You can track my bids to verify that I put my money where my mouth is. I’m PK of Milwaukee.
Cigarbid is not a sponsor and I get nothing out of this. But I feel stupid that I recommended the Cigora deal without fleshing out the details. I believe this is worth a little anxiety caused by using the auction process.
If you’ve ever wondered why cigars I recommend might sell out quickly…this is a partial screenshot of the 83 countries that read my blog. These numbers represent 14 days. Freaks me out a little that I’ve got peeps in Russia. This might be a main reason that other bloggers and the cigar industry hate me…my popularity makes no sense to them.
