The Good Guys Win!!

DMCA.com

That S.O.B. who stole three of my reviews and put them on his own blog has bitten the dust. WordPress decommissioned his web site.
http://cigarandbrewreview.wordpress.com/ thought he could do this with impunity.
But I have learned an encyclopedia of info on how to protect one’s intellectual property.
So if any of you bloggers out there would like some help, I will gladly walk you through the steps to eradicate your problem. And let me tell you, it was extremely convoluted.
So good night sweet prince of theives. Go curl up in the corner and wait and see what’s coming next. My attorney is going to slap him with a lawsuit and pass the info on to the Federal Copyright Commission and they will chase him down and he is looking at a very stiff fine. So losing your website is the least of your problems.

  2. So as the Katman plunges his plagiarizing nemesis down the rabbit hole, I wonder which cigar he’ll light up in triumph . . . the Cu-Avana Punisher? . . . CAO The Sopranos? . . . or the Gurkha Widow Maker?

      • Name is Yohan. Username is from grad school days when I would go off on tirades of theological gibberish. Peers referred to it as “yohannian-speak”. Tirades have mellowed over the years but wife says the gibberish part still flows strong.
As for the candela cigar, I am wary. Is it truly that good or are we under the spell of your significant skills as a scribe. I think Katman can make turd wrapped in roadkill carcass read like the finest vitolas from Esteli.

  3. First of all Yohan, I think,,,,thank you…not sure but I think you complimented me. LOl.
I just finished smoking my last 888 Candela and it was very good. The second half is where the jam and jelly are. Would I buy them? Yes. Why? Their price point is better than the average Illusione. Also, the reviewed stick had several months of humi time on it. I think they are worth a shot at a 5 pack. I’m not a candela lover and this is the first I liked.

    • Yohan,
I felt the need for a post script. I admit to being excited about most of the cigars I smoke and my writing reflects it. The deal is that I am choosy about what I review. Out of 800 reviews, maybe 40-50 have been negative. So they get lost in the fray.
I am exuberant about a good cigar and I try to convey that to my readers. If I enjoy a cigar, then I want you to know that you will probably enjoy it as well.
I know I go over the top compared to all of the A List reviewers. They are straight forward, dry, and mostly boring. Writing is what I love first. Music, second, And cigars, third. And through cigars, I’ve found a way to express all three of those passions. No one else writes those raunchy rock and roll stories which is why I don’t have the humongous audience the others have, but I do all right.
The bottom line: I don’t make shit up just to please someone. I write to please me and the cigar smoker who reads my blog.
And believe me, some of the boutique cigars I’ve smoked over the years tasted like turds in a road kill carcass.
