Free Premium Pipe Tobacco Giveaway Contest Now Over-Winners Posted | Cigar Reviews by the Katman

The two winners of the pipe tobacco are Joey C. and custommartini. Email me with your addresses. You can get my email address on the home page under “About the Katman and How to Reach Me.”

I HAVE NO WAY TO CONTACT THE WINNERS SO IF THEY DO NOT CLAIM THEIR PRIZES BY MONDAY, JUNE 9..I WILL PICK TWO NEW WINNERS!

I guess I am not the pipe smoking type. Over the last year, I’ve accumulated over 3lbs of different premium pipe tobacco. Not the crap. The good stuff. I bought most of it in 2oz tins…and a few 8oz tins. And it took over 20 tins to make the two bags. Some of the tobacco was the hard to get stuff.

I then mixed it all together for an out of this world concoction. The aroma is fantastic.
Each bag is the same ingredients. And each bag weighs approximately 1.5lbs.
Based on what I paid for this, each bag should be worth $160-$175

All you have to do is leave a comment below and on June 3, 2014, I will pick two winners.
NOTE: ONE COMMENT PER PERSON!!!!

  1. WOW, that’s a nice give away!

  2. I haven’t smoked a pipe quite a long time, but I’d love to try some of your blend. Thanks for giveaway!

  3. I have a few pipes collected over there last 2 years. Not a big fan of pipes but try it now and then. Seems more harsh than a cigar. Maybe I need a pipe with a longer stem.

  4. Not a big pipe smoker, but I’d like to try your special blend. Sounds interesting

  5. My friend smokes a pipe and always make me try it. I have to say the aromas are very nice. Wouldn’t mind trying yours. If you put it together it’s got to be good!

  6. I would like to smoke your pipe, oh I mean try your tobacco. Looks like a great blend and a mighty fine offer. I am extremely interested in trying the kohnhed blend. Thanks for the oppurtunity to win.

  11. It’s worth noting that my Birthday is June 2…

  12. I usually pack my pipe with a more herbal type of blend but I’d most certainly love to give Katman Kreation a whirl!

  13. Hello KatMan Miss you on Facebook

  14. Hey Katman, my buddy Marco told me about this contest. Well I come from a long line of pipe smokers, my grandfather bought me my first briar when I was 18. He told me that the secret to a good smoke is good briar and a damn good tobacco, or as he would call it, tobac. I’m in my late 20’s now and have really got myself into the hobby. I have a small collection of finely made briars mainly Savinelli’s and other Italian pipes with an assortment of bowl shapes and lengths (my favorite is my churchwarden). I’ve developed a taste for good blends and find myself buying from Iwan Ries over and over again (love their Dr. Bradley mix). I don’t mine spending a bit more than the average for an expertly crafted blend, it’s all worth it. I enjoy latikias and periques balanced with a sweet cavendish and virginia burly. Your pouches look great and I’d really enjoy picking out the various subtleties during a nice smoke. All the best ~Joey C

  15. thats freaking awsome :)!

  16. I would love just a sample. A whole bag would be amazing!

  17. You are too generous. I hope this goes to someone that will appreciate it. I smoke a pipe, but prefer stogies. I am priviliged the light up with my grandfather every weekend and just spend time.

  18. Hi Katman
Love your reviews as our choice of cigar is very limited in the uk and at stupid prices.
Reading your review is the next best thing to smoking them. The power of the imagination …. Ehm … Sorry imagining other things.
Having just gone through chemo my funds are at rock bottom and I only get cigars if friends and family oblige. But gone back to a pipe and finding it an interesting change.
I know you can’t send the gift to the uk
But just thought I’d get in touch anyway .
Keep on with the good work

    • Hey Ian,
I am reading this long after you wrote it. Thanks so much for your kind words.
It’s a shame that cigars are so expensive in Europe.
      Comment any time.
      Thanks

      • Hi Katman
Thanks for taking the time to reply.
Keep the reviews coming. It makes my day. It drives me mad that I can’t get the great range of cigars you get in the usa
I was lucky recently that a pal of mine bought me 10 cigars to try from his holiday in your country
I am limiting myself to one a week as a treat.
I also have a few fron the Canary Islands which strangely are not too bad
Anyway, great to hear your wife is ok after her scare. Let’s hope all goes ok for you. Gotta keep fighting.
I am in remission at the moment and hope to get back to work soon. Best thing in th uk is the great free health care. Can’t imagine what it’s like to worry about costs at such a time.
You stories if your visits to the uk are great. My sons father in law remembers seeing you way back in the midlands area.
A short story of mine is that I am a building surveyor by trade and I looked at an old property some time back where I found the roof void lined with tin foil with big lights above.
The old farmer said he had no idea what it was for but was done by a bunch of young lads who rented it for a couple if years and did nothing but party non stop!
They were musicians known as Medicine Head popular locally at the time. Perhaps you heard if them on your travels.
        Keep up the good work
        Regards
        Ian
