THE WHOLE MEGILLAH:
Troglodyte’s Tat Thursday.

Big fucker of a cigar. The drag wants a lift. If I was in need of clearing the pipe so I could huff this cigar with ease, what cigar accessory would I choose? Dunno. (Phone rings. Yes?…OK. Click.) I would use my PerfecDraw.

Lots of Nicaraguan leaf. I proboscicate lots of chocolate from the wrapper. A lot of heft when I lift this branch. A whole lotta’.

Powerful start. Fatty notes of soy sauce, black pepper, teriyaki bacon, dark chocolate, red pepper, black coffee, and wood soaked in cranberry juice. OK. Does it matter what fucking flavors I taste? Does it? Does it really? Do you need some self-important shmo describing a floral display of horseshit? Do you? Do you really? No, you don’t. Free will.

Strength begins the beguine at medium/full.

This is definitely a brilliant display of Nicaraguan Almost Puro. Creamy chocolate, sweet roasted cashews, mint, and damp mons pubis. There I go again…stop me. Run. Scroll while you can, save yourself.

Rich. Complexity don’t wait in line. It says it has a pass. Do it? Maybe I’m amazed.

All those years ago…where did I get the stamina and hubris to write 2500-word manifestos? 1100 is perfect. Nothing more, nothing less.

Or as a reader said in a recent email, ‘You’re a perfect way to waste time and have a chuckle.’ Gee thanks. He then went on to ask if we could get together for a cigar. Ha. Words are important.

Lemon frontal attack. Strength calms the fuck down. How odd. But good. The blades on my beanie aren’t up to Boeing specs.

I took a chick on a first date to Hollywood to see the premiere of Sam Peckinpah’s ‘The Wild Bunch.’ A film that was groundbreaking for its level of violence and blood. The first episode shootout began, and the girl broke into tears. She was freaked out. I did the right thing…I took her home and never called her again.

This blend is familiar. Very Tatty. It’s not groundbreaking. But I like it. I read that more than half of the world’s cigars come from Nicaragua. A whole lotta’. That’s a big mouth to feed. I am having flashes of Padron. Flashes of one step better than Southern Draw. Flash bangs of Espinosa, but superior. Flashdances of Liga Privada but smoother. And flashy spotted dick of Viaje but more splendiferous. My meds. Where are my meds.

2” in and the complexity nestles between my third and seventh vertebrae. The burn is excellent and so is the fire in my loins when I think of Helen Keller.

Rich with notes of Costa Rican coffee. The spiciness is barely equivalent and almost goes unnoticed. Tricky. Super smooth cinnamon dough. Suavecito activates. I found my meds.

The blend is becoming the flavor wheel. A non-stop list of contestants. I’m having a good time.

My fear is repetition. My fear is fear itself. This cigar is damn fine. It veers from what I expect from Pete Johnson. It is sophisticated and complex in the manner of The New Era. This release has flown underneath the radar, and I don’t know why. I know it tasted like shit upon receipt. Not so much now.

Halfway and still medium in its presence. But the body is full. Like me.

Wouldn’t it be funny if Ringo was the last man standing and had to carry the flag? A perfect example of cancel culture.

The second half is extreme. Sneaking Sally through the alley on me. The flavor wheel ends. Intensity is inaugurated. Will the first half catch up to the second half with extended humidor time? I’d bet on it. Let ‘em sleep. Don’t fuck up.

I couldn’t convince my girlfriend that keeping my job required I fuck the girl lead singer. I had no choice. Men can be taken advantage of too. Especially young ones seeking career advancement. Me three? Could have been worse. Spacey.

I’m glad I spent $75 for a fiver. A good time is had by Al.

We played Liverpool Stadium in the dead of winter. The dressing rooms stunk of boxer’s sweat. It was the only time I gave in and allowed the chick singer to apply glam eye makeup on me. The first five rows pointed and laughed. I faced Stewart for most of the set. He pointed and laughed too but from him I didn’t care.

This is a great fucking cigar. Balanced perfectly like telling your wife she isn’t fat.

I only saw blow once the entire time I was based in London.

Sharp construction. Slow roll. Cloaked in transitions and subtleties. Starts out with fattitude and morphs into overlapping sweet spots. No nicotine. Spicy. Richie Rich. A multiverse of palatial choices for the palate. Just so nice. Yeah, I’d buy more.

Ch-ch-Changes.

A love that should have lasted years.

Johnson did good. A lot of thought. 85? Of course. Ha.

Jeff Beck was in the dressing room with us. I nearly shat myself. Blow by blow.

A memorable two hours by any measure. Don’t fuck up…let ‘em sleep for 6 months.

Only one sponsor carries this cigar: CIGAR PAGE. Instead of the retail price of $15.00, CP is selling them in five packs for the reduced price of $12.00 per cigar. And to prove their fealty to my readers, Cigar Page is also giving my lovies an additional 20% off with promo code: PCA2023. That turns this $15 stick into a killer $9.60 Erectile Dysfunction Bargain of the Century. Go to Cigar Page and get your Bag O’ Tats here.
P.S. I paid full price when I bought a fiver from a non-sponsor a few months ago. I paid $27 too much. Aren’t I the asshole?
P.P.S. A few hours later. Cigar Page reduced their price even more. Instead of $12 before promo code, they are now $10.87. After promo code, the single cigar will be only $8.70. This is a no brainer for a limited Tat.

CIGAR PAGE SOLD OUT A FEW HOURS AFTER THIS POSTING. The online pirates await your business. Be careful.

  1. Snagged some after I got off work. Price in cart was actually $55, so I got out for $8.80 / stick after discount……and there was much rejoicing.
