Damn rotty luck. I was diagnosed with Covid a few days ago. The doc gave me 6 months. I told him I can’t pay. He said OK you got a year. Badda boom…thank you, Rodney.
All those BJ stories I told…well, I currently cannot swallow so there is a sense of irony in that.
I will be re-posting reviews that I believe will provide some insight into cigars you might want to revisit and some you don’t.
No one will be taking my place during my hiatus. You’re on your own…and so am I.
Get your vaccinations like I did so this new surge is not life threatening. You owe it to your family.

Sorry to hear about your COVID. Funny, because yesterday I was reading one of your reviews of a cigar “THE WISE MAN El Gueguense Maduro” while I was smoking it, and could not agree less with your review, and I usually fully agree plus or minus 2 points. So I thought to myself maybe he had COVID while reviewing this cigar (: Here you are. I think you should revisit that cigar after you heal and get your smell and taste back. BTW I am pharmacist and thank you for the vaccination shout out.

I’ve had so many smokers tell me I’m full of shit when it came to my final assessment of that cigar.
So, yeah…I should revisit it.
One of my best friends is a semi-retired pharmacist. What a pain in the arse…but I’ve found that most doctors don’t know squat about pharmacology. A 3-week course in med school is shockingly insufficient.

Bummer about the covid, Phil. I hope you bounce back soon so I don’t have endure some prattling bozo on Youtube drone on about the “latest release”. Also, that pharmacist friend of yours? You might want to ask him to give you your next covid vaccine booster. I’ll bet he has a special needle with your name on it…. 😉 … “you won’t feel a thing” he’ll say.

I’ve never been gladder that I fought the anti-vaxing mentality and got all my vaccinations since 2020. Otherwise, this might be a lot worse.
And thank you for your wise counsel on making sure only the good drugs enter my dilapidated system.
