Rolled in Honduras roughly 27 years ago, the Havana Star Chicos are hand made in Honduras with long leaf filler. A window into an older time the Havana Stars have aged surprisingly well. Of course, with any cigar this old we cannot guarantee things like burn or construction, but we can tell you that these cigars a an absolutely a unique piece of history available nowhere else in the world.

    • The Havana Star is very good. A nice little 15-minute smoke that while it must be Honduran tobacco, tastes like a fine Dominican blend. It’s smooth, creamy, and with a nice balance of sweet v. savory. I was more than pleasantly surprised.
      I haven’t smoked the Don Quijote or Joya de Honduras Cabinet Selection Ligero…but I intend to do so very soon.
