CI Sale on Oliva Serie V Melanio Edicion Año 2024 | Cigar Reviews by the Katman

This cigar has two years of box aging. Only 10,000 ten count boxes were released which means they are in short supply.

Here are the leaf stats:
Wrapper: Ecuadorian Sumatra
Binder: Nicaraguan
Filler: Nicaraguan
Size: 5.5 x 60
Strength: Medium
Price: $21.80 (But not today)

CI is selling a fiver for $32.50 or $6.50 per cigar. You can try to use either of these promo codes to bring the price down 20% but I discovered that when I tried them, they must be one use only. I paid the $32.50 because it’s still an incredible deal on a lauded blend.
CIAFFCJO20 or SMILEY20

I bought my fiver and should have bought two. I don’t know what’s wrong with me.

I could not find a time deadline so there’s no hurry. At least, I don’t think.

I have no affiliation with Cigars International which means I get zip from the sales of this cigar. Just me letting you in on a deal that I thought worthy of our dough. I couldn’t pass up a 70% savings.

GO TO CIGARS INTERNATIONAL HERE.

DEAL ENDED.

  2. Katman wrote:” C.I. code must be one use only.” Sometimes it is and sometimes it isn’t. They use the shipping address to determine the qualifier. If you’re a U.S. military veteran and get a 10% discount, unless you purchase as a guest and use an alternate shipping address, your purchases will always default back to 10% off, even if there is an active 20% or more coupon. C.I.’s customer service center is off shore with agents who have a modest comprehension of conversational English. If you try to explain that you are a veteran but that on the current purchase you would like to use the current 20% discount code, they will haltingly read you boilerplate that you cannot compound (stack) coupons. When you explain that you not intend on stacking coupons, but just want the 20% active coupon, your call will very likely be cut off. There is only one solution I have found to the dilemma. Call customer service and upon the agent answering say very clearly, “I require speaking to a customer service supervisor in stateside in the U.S.” When connected, explain the situation and place your order with the 20% off coupon code.

On a $32.50 purchase, the discount is $6.50 or $3.25 per five pack and really not worth screwing around, if your time is worth anything. When the purchase is $100s, the call stateside is worth it.

    • It’s rsteve1945 replying to myself. I got off the phone with C.I. customer service, stateside, about 1/2 hour ago, and verbally placed an order using the 20% off coupon code CIAFFCJO20. The customer service supervisor was efficient and, surprisingly, apologetic, but did throw the folks that write C.I.’s software under a speeding locomotive.
