Mark Bailly here. The early J Geils Band. Their 70s music is overshadowed by their more popish 80s stuff like Centerfold. Listen to their 70s live albums – rock/R&B/blues all rolled into one.

Jeffrey Ouimet- When I was a kid in college, I saw my favorite band, The Who. 1979 at the Montreal Forum, a balloon drifted on stage and stopped right in front of John Entwistle. He was so cool, he didn’t do a thing. I’m like “kick it, stomp it, do something!” He just played on.
