Flash Sale ~ 10 Year Aged La Aurora Embassador Brazil Maduro | Cigar Reviews by the Katman

I was minding my own business but that damn Cigar Deal Hunters by Smoking Hub showed up in my email inbox. Damn their eyes.
I last brought this cigar to your attention in February. I bought as many as I could.

Here’s what I said in February:

Seeing that the cigars were aged 10 years, before adding cellos and then boxing them, was a huge lure.
Originally, Cigars International found them at La Aurora and did an exclusive deal. Cigar Page bought them later from CI, who no longer sells them.

Per Cigar Page: “Smokers will be greeted with earthy notes of leather and cocoa up front, followed by rich undertones of dark chocolate and subtle spice. A touch of black pepper rounds out the finish, adding just the right amount of kick without overpowering the balance.”

The retail, if you can find them, is $14.00 per stick.

As usual, Cigar Page has put that price through a meat grinder and is selling a 10 pack for $45.00. It’s a 70% savings over retail. But try to find them. You can’t!

I lit one up this morning and thought immediately that I scored, so I bought another ten pack. The PR above is accurate with rich earthy chocolate notes and a nice balance of sweet v. savory. The strength makes them perfect for a morning cigar or after lunch. Very easy going but with sizeable body.

Here are the leaf stats:
Wrapper: Brazilian Maduro
Binder: Brazilian
Filler: Dominican, Nicaraguan, Peruvian, Brazilian
Size: 5 x 52 Robusto
Strength: Medium

This is a perfect morning cigar.
THIS SALE ENDS TONIGHT AT 11:59PM.
