He has always been my favorite silent movie star.
His stunts are legendary and so insane that it is nearly impossible to believe he actually pulled off risking his life to make us laugh.

And I thought Jackie Chan’s slapstick stunts were amazing.

I’d be lying if I said my stomach wasn’t in my throat for half of these, but that was an enjoyable 16 minutes. I even shared it with my biomechanics class to get them to think about lever arms in the real world (the ladder scene at 10:27)

That’s funny. As an engineer, it was impossible for me not to marvel at the ladder scene. Don’t you just hate always thinking in the protoancedentphysiology of things. (I made that word up to cause shock and awe in my non-engineer readers).
