August 23, 2026 Update: I allowed a cigar to dry box for 24 hours and gave it a bath of fire. The aging has served the cigar well. If the blend was any smoother, it would look like my tushy the day after my Bar Mitzvah. I had a Monte with 4 months on it that I smoked two days before the 20-count arrived. It was not ready for prime time and had some harsh notes. The Montes, with what I’m assuming have a few years of age, smoke the way the blender intended. It still has serious kick but the crispy edges are gone. I should have bought more.
