My cigars have received over 2 months of naked humidor time.
My cigars were gifted by Generalissimo Francisco Franco.

THE WHOLE MEGILLAH:
A 20-year celebration. I was smoking cigars 30 years before Tatuaje was born. Fuck I’m old. I checked the Tatuaje website. No mention of this cigar. Is that a joke.

I would have thought such a celebration would offer bragging rights about the blending process. Nope. Just another day in Bedrock. Yabba dabba do.

According to Tatuaje, this is a regular production cigar. Yet, you gotta look to find it.

Habano wrapper with Nic guts. Have we been here before. Yep. Endlessly. There is a bigger 6.375 x 54 size for $14.00.

Lovely brown cigar. It has a closed foot. Surgery is inadvisable.

The draw is like sucking on a paper straw. My PerfecDraw’s eyes are wide in anticipation and its mouth is dripping with spittle. I let it loose on my Tat. There is thrashing and large fat globules that make Dr. Rod’s effigy feel uncomfortable. A vagina appears. I react immediately…but too late. I’m swallowed by an engorged anus. It appears bleak. Dr. Rod panics. Johnny Piette transfers his undiagnosed Malaysian Nipple Virus to Yasmine Bleeth as she struggles to spell Hasselhoff. To be continued…

Lovely start that reminds me I’m smoking a cigar. Extremely buttery. Soft notes of milk chocolate, cinnamon, black pepper, the overused espresso factor, and a hint of sweet berries.

Strength wastes no time. Medium/full is attained. Or is it obtained. Zen confusion sets in.

Creamy, bright honey notes, butterscotch, mixed marmot nuts, and Woody Gonzalez.

The burn is a tad willywonkafied. I make a move to fix it. I’m writing like an idiot.

While the leaf stats scream AJ, the blend is nothing like his wares. It stands alone. A good thing. I like it. I am surprised. Stop writing like this.

My overtaxed term of richness is all important. Your palate recognizes it regardless if you do. It is in play and gives this cigar some real character early on. The complexity lags behind the mouth feel aspect but if experience means anything, it will raise its head like Godzilla and smite Raymond Burr toot suite.

The char line is askew. Not ajar. Still not doing it.

If you don’t read me regularly, you have no idea what I’m doing. Or care.

Complex flavors arrive at 1” burned. 15 minutes. Huzzah.

I notice smoke coming from my lap. I leap as old men tend to do because while there is not much there, we still owe it everything. If an ember was present, it is gone, and my naughty bits are intact. In totem. Infrastructure. Indy 500. I’m done.

If you haven’t seen it, watch The Kennedy Center Honors with Led Zep and ‘Stairway to Heaven’ performed by Heart on YouTube. Fucking great. And I hate that song. If you were a cover band in the early 70’s, playing it every set was understood. The hard part was posing. You had to appear rockstar-like. Such bullshit.

This is a nice cigar experience. It doesn’t overwhelm with the need for constant attention. It may just be an excellent example of Tatuaje blends we’ve come to love and enjoy. I’ve been a fan. Pete Johnson has been a consistent Blender In Charge. My favorite is the Black in Lancero form. A reliable go-to. In fact, my stash is low. Must act.

It is a relaxing slow roll. The strength, while wild and woolly, is devoid of nicotine making this a fun ride for the adventurous. I love strong cigars. Connie smokers don’t read me. No need to read any reviewer. Stuck in quicksand.

Not a damn thing linear about this blend. A slow creep. It grows on you like Mungo Jerry.

Anyone my age sees their best days behind them. I no longer need shades. I’m just fucking lucky to be lucid. If you don’t get it, keep walking. I’m a window into your future.

So creamy. Mocha java supreme. The lithe spiciness is just perfect. The black pepper rests in the back of my throat without incursion that could easily decimate the subtle flavors. The balance improves every two minutes.

The char line has been berry berry good to me. Must have been self-loathing and shame that saw the correction. It wants a 90+ so bad.

I love the Corona Gorda size. Normally seen in the 6 x 46 size but exceptions are viable. Gordos are great for killing time. But intensity is not their bag.

It’s been 40 minutes and I’ve only burned 1-1/2”. I must be in arrears of my never-ending word usage when I once had diarrhea of the verbiage. I sometimes must look at older reviews and man, you just couldn’t stop me from expounding ad nauseum.

I will skip ahead. Well, not skip. I will walk in a manly style. Like John Wayne. Sure.

My Long Beach recording studio was smack dab in the middle of the gay section in downtown. I had two buildings. One for recording. And one for the rehearsal studio and offices. Good looking girls were always driving by. I affected my not-gay walking style when going from one building to another. I only made it worse. I was thin and neat. I never had a fighting chance. Got us lots of local gay bands in the studio. But only two lesbian bands. I was afraid of the wiener-less girls. I thought they wanted mine…and not in the good way.

Past the halfway point. Fucking great cigar. I reviewed the Highclere Castle Senetjer yesterday. This Tat is better. My kind of cigar.

Strength is full tilt. The room swoons and so do I. Good times.
I see ferrets everywhere.

Instead of sending cigars to your friends…they have plenty. Give smokes to your first responders. Don’t dial 9-1-1. I find they respond to free cigars quicker if you just call the station.

OK. I know I use the term ‘richness’ too much. It’s just a phase. But this Tat is so delectable, because of that warmth, that I can smoke this baby like an all-day sucker. Oddly, this is not a flavor bomb. Flavors rest in its safe place. The deep complexity covers all the bases. I love diversity in my cigars. You do too.

I’ve been in numerous entertainments. That’s a fact, Jack:

This Corona Gorda is planning on being a 100 minute smoke. Fire.

This is a regular production cigar, but it is like finding Waldo from online retailers. Why is that. No idea. Atlantic has the Grand Chasseur in fivers and singles.

I want more. If you haven’t snagged some, get some. And if Tatuaje is true to their word, the cigar will reappear soon. I’m sure it was gold dust fever that depleted stock everywhere.

All four of my online retailer sponsors carry a wonderful spectrum of Tatuaje blends. Small Batch Cigar (10% off with promo code ‘katman’), Luxury Cigar Club (15% off with promo code ‘katman’), Cigar Page.
